The suspect is said to have specifically targeted elderly and vulnerable individuals, making off with a significant amount of precious jewelry.
Florentina Alexandru, a 44-year-old resident of Toronto, has been taken into custody and formally charged with theft exceeding $5000 and involvement in a criminal organization. She was slated to make a court appearance on Thursday.
