“Manhunt Underway: Police Scour Etobicoke for Assault Suspect”

A surveillance image of a suspect involved in an assault in Etobicoke has been released by Toronto police.

The incident occurred on Friday, September 12, 2025, around 4:15 p.m. in The Queensway and Kipling Avenue area. According to investigators, a citizen was walking on the sidewalk when the suspect approached and began a verbal interaction that quickly turned violent. The victim was allegedly assaulted, leading to them falling to the ground, where the attack continued.

After the assault, the suspect fled the scene, leaving the victim with non life-threatening injuries. It is unclear whether the suspect and victim had any prior connection before the incident.

Authorities are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, who is described as clean-shaven with short brown hair. During the assault, he was wearing black pants with white lines on the outer thigh, a gray shirt, dark shoes, and was accompanied by a brown dog.
