Montreal authorities are currently probing a case where an 18-year-old individual sustained injuries from a sharp object during an armed attack in a park on a Wednesday evening.
At approximately 7:15 p.m., Montreal police were alerted to the incident in a park situated at the junction of de L’Épée Avenue and de Liège Street within the Villeray—Saint-Michel—Parc-Extension neighborhood.
Jeanne Drouin, a spokesperson for the Montreal police, stated, “Upon arrival, officers found the victim, an 18-year-old male, with injuries to his upper body.” The wounded individual was promptly transported to a medical facility, with authorities affirming that his life is not at risk.
As of now, no suspects have been apprehended, and investigations are actively underway.
