Longueuil Police Expand Hunt for Additional Victims in Growing Indecency Investigation

Longueuil Police Seek Help Identifying Victims of Alleged Indecent Acts

Longueuil Police (SPAL) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying any additional victims linked to a 44-year-old man who was arrested on October 15 for alleged indecent behavior.

Christopher Choquette was apprehended as part of an ongoing investigation into reported indecent acts that date back to July 2023. These incidents were initially reported in Saint-Basile-le-Grand in April 2018.

Choquette is believed to have engaged in inappropriate behavior while driving along public roads or in commercial parking lots using his vehicles — a blue 2019 Hyundai Elantra (license plate BFP 18F) and a red 2006 Dodge Caravan (license plate FPH 4093) — often in the presence of women.

The SPAL investigation has connected Choquette to around 20 alleged incidents that took place in Longueuil, Estrie, Montérégie, and Montreal between April 2018 and September 2025. Authorities are considering the possibility of more victims, especially in Châteauguay, where Choquette resides.

Choquette is facing charges related to indecent acts and was released on October 15 under specific conditions.
