Toronto Man Arrested After Attempting to Flee Police with Loaded Handgun and Drugs
A Toronto man, Neal Douglas, age 46, was apprehended by police in North York in connection with a firearm incident. Officers, responding to a warrant for his arrest, found him near Jane Street and Shoreham Drive. When confronted, Douglas attempted to escape on foot but was captured shortly after. Upon searching him, police discovered a handgun, a loaded magazine, and drugs in his possession. Douglas faces 12 charges related to the incident and is scheduled to appear in court.
