Toronto authorities are currently looking into a hit-and-run incident that resulted in two pedestrians being hospitalized on Friday evening.
The incident took place in the Moss Park area of the city, specifically near Adelaide Street and Ontario Street, at around 10:30 p.m. Reports indicate that a child and an adult were hit by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving the injured pedestrians behind. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene and transported both victims to the hospital for treatment.
Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the pedestrians are reported to be non-life-threatening.
