“Local Richmond Hill Man, 34, Arrested for Indecent Exposure on Secluded Nature Trails”

Richmond Hill Man Arrested for Indecent Acts in Wooded Trails

A man, identified as 34-year-old Jared Ross from Richmond Hill, has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself and committing indecent acts in the wooded backtrails of the area, according to police reports.

Authorities have linked Ross to three separate incidents that occurred in recent months. The first incident took place on July 23, when a victim encountered Ross near Tower Hill Road and Mockingbird Drive around 11 a.m. Ross reportedly exposed himself and engaged in indecent behavior before the victim reported the incident to the police.

Subsequently, on September 11, a second victim was followed by Ross while walking on a trail near Woodriver Street and Bayview Avenue at 4:45 p.m. The victim reported that Ross made inappropriate sexual comments towards them, prompting concerns.

The third incident occurred on September 30, where a victim on a trail near Devonsleigh Boulevard and Summitcrest Drive was approached by Ross, who attempted to engage in conversation and exposed himself before leaving the scene. Fortunately, none of the victims sustained physical injuries during these encounters.

Following a search warrant executed by authorities on a residence in the area, Ross was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including two counts of committing indecent acts, three counts of mischief, and one count of criminal harassment.

Investigators suspect there may be additional victims and urge anyone with relevant information to come forward and contact the police.
