Niagara Falls Police Seek Second Suspect in Connection to Young Woman’s Death
Niagara Falls authorities are on the hunt for a second suspect linked to the tragic discovery of a deceased 22-year-old woman in a local parking lot. The incident unfolded last week when police responded to a sudden death report in the vicinity of Main Street and Ferry Street. Upon arrival, officers located the woman’s body behind a building in the parking lot.
The case was swiftly transferred to the Niagara Regional Police Service Homicide Unit, who have since apprehended 43-year-old Christopher St. Louis from Niagara Falls. St. Louis faces charges of indignity to a body and is currently in custody awaiting a scheduled bail hearing on Oct. 16.
Now, investigators are actively seeking 38-year-old Ryan Maeder, also from Niagara Falls, believed to be a second suspect in the case. Maeder is wanted on charges of indignity to a body, and efforts to track him down are ongoing.
The circumstances surrounding the young woman’s death remain unclear as authorities continue their inquiry.
Individuals with any information regarding this case or the whereabouts of Ryan Maeder are urged to reach out to the Niagara police.
