“Health Alert: Mould Discovery Sparks Nationwide Recall of Popular Dollarama Snack!”

Dollarama Recalls Biskwi Waffles Over Mould Concerns

Dollarama has issued a recall for its popular Biskwi brand Waffles with Chocolaty Filling due to the presence of mould. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) recently published the recall notice, targeting 180-gram packages of the dessert with expiry dates falling between April 21 and May 12, 2026.

In response to the situation, the CFIA advised consumers to refrain from using, selling, serving, or distributing the affected product. While the agency emphasized the importance of avoiding consumption of the waffles, it clarified that the mould issue is considered non-harmful in terms of quality and spoilage.

This recall adds to a series of recent product recalls, including pistachio-containing items linked to a salmonella outbreak. For a comprehensive list of recalled products, interested individuals can visit the CFIA’s website.
