Over in Mississauga, Celebration Square, also known as The Bird’s Nest, will be hosting watch parties throughout the World Series, ensuring that fans outside of Toronto can also be part of the excitement.
Both games are scheduled to start just after 8 p.m. at the Rogers Centre on Friday and Saturday.
In addition to the World Series events, sports fans in Toronto can enjoy a jam-packed weekend with the Toronto Raptors and the Maple Leafs also in action. To accommodate the World Series schedule, both teams have adjusted their game times.
The Toronto Raptors will kick off their home opener against the Milwaukee Bucks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the Scotiabank Arena, an hour earlier than initially planned.
