A pedestrian was critically injured in a multi-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in Brampton on Wednesday evening, leading to a temporary closure of the area.
The incident took place at around 6:50 p.m. at the intersection of Bovaird Drive and Bramalea Road, involving four vehicles. Fortunately, all drivers involved stayed on the scene and are assisting with the investigation, as confirmed by Peel Regional Police.
Emergency responders swiftly transported an adult female pedestrian to the hospital with severe injuries. The closure of the intersection for an extended period resulted in significant traffic congestion in the vicinity.
