“Two Additional Teens Nabbed by Laval Police in Recent Home Invasion Crackdown”

Two additional minors have been apprehended by Laval police in connection with a recent home invasion in the Sainte-Rose neighborhood. Following the initial arrest of a third minor suspect at the scene of the crime, investigators from the Crimes Against Persons unit took the latest suspects into custody on Oct. 21.

The home invasion took place on Oct. 13, prompting a swift response from law enforcement after residents reported hearing suspicious activity in the early hours of the morning. Upon arrival, patrol officers encountered the suspects who attempted to flee on foot, leading to an extensive search operation to track them down.

One of the suspects, a 17-year-old found in a getaway vehicle, has already been charged with breaking and entering and was placed under strict conditions pending further legal proceedings. The two new suspects, aged 16 and 17, face similar charges of breaking and entering along with possession of a dangerous weapon.

Thankfully, there were no reported injuries during the incident, and the arrested individuals are set to appear before the Youth Division of the Court of Quebec in the near future. The police continue to investigate the case to ensure justice is served.
