Authorities in the Niagara Region are seeking a 27-year-old man from Brampton in connection with a murder case following the discovery of a deceased woman in a park on Tuesday.
According to reports, law enforcement responded to a distress call at Charles Daley Park in Lincoln, Ont., at approximately 11 a.m., where they located the body of a woman who had suffered severe injuries.
The victim has been identified as Amanpreet Saini, 27, hailing from Toronto.
A nationwide arrest warrant has been issued for Manpreet Singh, also 27 years old and from Brampton, on charges of second-degree murder.
It has been revealed that Singh may have absconded from the country soon after the discovery of Saini’s body, based on investigative leads.
While authorities believe the crime was targeted, no details have been disclosed regarding the nature of the relationship between the two individuals.
