Police Shoot and Arrest Man in North York Following Altercation
Authorities reported that a man in his 50s was taken into custody and rushed to a hospital after sustaining injuries in a police shooting on Saturday morning.

The incident unfolded at a residence near Victoria Park Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East in North York at around 6:30 a.m. in response to a call regarding “unknown trouble.”

According to a statement from Toronto police on social media, a confrontation led to officers firing a gun. The man in his 50s was subsequently apprehended and taken to the hospital.

The current condition of the man remains undisclosed.
