A minor incident occurred near Science World in Vancouver on Saturday morning when a tent caught fire, leading to a small propane explosion. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the incident, according to Vancouver Fire Rescue.
Eyewitnesses noted that the tent, which was positioned near a building on Station Street close to Southern Street, caught fire just before 9 a.m. Asst. Fire Chief Pierre Morin mentioned to 1130 NewsRadio that the fire did not spread to any nearby structures, resulting in only minor damage to the grass and the tent itself.
The fire has been successfully put out, and investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the blaze.
