18-Year-Old Motorcyclist Airlifted in Critical Condition Following Dramatic Brampton Crash

A young motorcyclist, aged 18, was rushed to the hospital via air ambulance in the early hours of Sunday following a serious crash involving three vehicles.

The incident, as reported by Peel Regional Police (PRP), occurred close to Copperage Street and Financial Drive after midnight.

PRP officers disclosed that a Toyota SUV, heading north on Financial Drive, collided with the motorcyclist riding in the curb lane, with a third vehicle also impacted indirectly.

“The speed at which the motorcycle was travelling is considered to have played a role,” stated a PRP spokesperson to CityNews.

Emergency services attended to two occupants of the Toyota, who were taken to a medical facility for precautionary assessments. In contrast, the 18-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital and remains in critical condition.

Further details on the incident are currently unavailable.
