A man riding a scooter was injured in a collision with a vehicle in Markham on Sunday morning, according to York Regional Police.
The incident occurred near Kennedy Road and Angus Glen Boulevard around 11:00 a.m. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured scooter rider to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the accident, Kennedy Road has been shut down in both directions between The Fairways and Bur Oak Avenue to allow emergency crews to work on the scene.
