The Surrey Police Service (SPS) has launched an investigation following a shooting incident at a home during the night.
Authorities responded to a residence located on 124th Street close to 78th Avenue just before 3 a.m. Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered bullet damage on the exterior of the house, according to the SPS.
While the shooting took place, multiple individuals were present inside the residence, yet fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries.
The police department stated that they will remain at the site all day to search for both physical and digital evidence.
“At this initial phase, the reasons behind the shooting are still being probed, and investigators will collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to determine potential connections to past cases,” the police department declared.
