Police have identified two out of three individuals allegedly involved in a daring heist at a LensCrafters store in Pickering Town Centre, where over $30,000 worth of designer sunglasses were stolen last month.
Reportedly, a trio of females made off with more than 60 pairs of luxury glasses just before closing time on September 29, 2025.
In a recent development, Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) revealed that a search warrant was executed at a residence in Toronto’s west-end on October 26, leading to the recovery of over $25,000 in stolen merchandise. Despite this, the suspects remain on the run.
One of the identified suspects is Carolyn Vanessa Walker, a 33-year-old from Toronto, while the second culprit is a 17-year-old girl from Mississauga.
The third suspect’s identity has not been disclosed, prompting authorities to seek public assistance in locating the individual.
All three suspects are being sought for theft over $5,000 and possession of property obtained through criminal means exceeding $5,000.
“Individuals involved are urged to seek legal counsel and surrender to the authorities,” stated DRPS. “Harboring or aiding the suspects in evading capture is a punishable offense under the Criminal Code of Canada.”
