“Dramatic 18th Inning Walk-Off Seals Dodgers’ Thrilling 6-5 Victory Over Blue Jays in World Series Game 3!”

The Los Angeles Dodgers secured a thrilling victory in Game 3 of the World Series with a dramatic walk-off home run in the 18th inning, prevailing over the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5 and seizing a 2-1 series advantage.

Freddie Freeman played the hero by launching a decisive homer in the 18th inning, matching the record for the longest game in World Series history, which lasted a marathon six hours and 39 minutes.

The upcoming Game 4 is set to kick off at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Shohei Ohtani delivered a crucial game-tying homer in the seventh inning, setting the stage for Freeman’s clutch heroics almost a dozen innings later.

The Dodgers’ Teoscar Hernandez and Ohtani both smashed home runs in the early innings off Max Scherzer, igniting the scorecard.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. kicked off the fourth inning with a walk, followed by Bichette reaching base on an error in the subsequent at-bat.

Kirk then unleashed a powerful hit against pitcher Tyler Glasnow, silencing the Dodgers fans and bringing home Guerrero and Bichette.

The Blue Jays extended their lead with a sacrifice fly from Andrés Giménez, scoring Addison Barger to close the inning with a 4-2 advantage.

In the fifth inning, Enrique Hernández crossed home plate on a double from Ohtani, who was in turn driven home by Freeman’s single, knotting the score at 4-4.

Scherzer’s night ended after 4.1 innings and 79 pitches on Monday, tallying three strikeouts while conceding five hits, three runs, and one walk.

A timely single from Bo Bichette in the seventh inning propelled Vladimir Guerrero Jr. over home plate, briefly giving the Blue Jays a 5-4 lead before Ohtani’s game-tying blast.

Scherzer’s appearance in Monday’s game marked a historic milestone, as he became the first player to pitch in the World Series for four different teams, having previously graced the Fall Classic with the Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals, and Detroit Tigers.

Ohtani also etched his name in the record books, equalling a century-old major league record with four extra-base hits.

The World Series currently stands deadlocked at 2-1 in favor of the Dodgers.
