A business in South Surrey was targeted in a shooting incident, causing damage to the exterior of the building. The incident took place on Croydon Drive near 32nd Avenue, with shots fired between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the building was unoccupied during the shooting. The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is actively investigating the case, but the Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit of the RCMP has taken over the investigation.
Investigators are currently gathering additional evidence at the scene and urge anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502.
As of now, the police have not disclosed any details regarding a potential link to extortion activities or files.
