A young man from Niagara Falls, aged 22, has been charged with multiple offenses following a human trafficking investigation.
According to investigators, in October 2025, two males and one female were arrested and charged with crimes related to human trafficking. Further investigation uncovered new information implicating another individual.
The individual in question, Joel Jongwe, has been arrested and charged with serious offenses including obtaining sexual services from a minor, sexual assault, and sexual interference.
Jongwe was set to appear at a bail hearing in St. Catharines on October 30.
