Ghosts and goblins may need umbrellas this Halloween in Montreal as the city faces a rainy Friday ahead of the municipal elections on Sunday. According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the city is under a rainfall warning today with expected amounts of 40 to 60 millimetres.

Despite the wet weather forecast for Friday, the Halloween spirit is set to continue on Saturday in Montreal with various planned activities throughout the city. The day is expected to be cloudy with a high of 6°C.
On Sunday, Montrealers will head to the polls to elect their next mayor under cloudy and cool conditions, maintaining a steady temperature of 6°C. The first Monday of November is expected to bring showers and a slightly higher temperature of 11°C.
Looking ahead, Tuesday is forecasted to have cloudy skies and a high of 7°C, followed by more clouds on Wednesday with a 60% chance of showers and the same temperature.
