Multiple individuals sustained injuries in a significant collision on Highway 1 close to Chilliwack on Thursday evening.
Emergency response teams swiftly arrived at the crash site at approximately 6:50 p.m.
According to BC Emergency Health Services, a total of six ambulances, alongside an air ambulance, were utilized to transport four individuals to medical facilities.
Photographs captured at the location depict law enforcement officials examining a badly damaged white SUV and a black Sedan.
Authorities diverted traffic and closed off the westbound lanes of Highway 1, situated west of Peters Road, throughout the night. Subsequently, the highway has been reopened for regular traffic.
