Authorities in Toronto are on the lookout for three individuals in connection with a tragic shooting incident that occurred in Scarborough last September, leading to a loss of life.
The incident took place at the intersection of Sheppard Avenue East and Brimley Road at 10 p.m. on September 24. According to reports, a victim was discovered at the scene with severe injuries.
Reports suggest that the victim and the suspects were present at a nearby establishment and were involved in a physical altercation. Subsequently, the suspects reportedly brandished a firearm and shot the victim.
The injured man, identified as Yueyan Dong, aged 42 from Woodbridge, was rushed to the hospital with critical wounds. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries on October 19, 2025.
Authorities have issued a nationwide warrant for the arrest of the three suspects connected to the shooting. The individuals sought are Kai Chen, 29, from Markham, Donald Keeshig, 29, from Toronto, and Kye-Shawne Griffiths, 28, from Brampton, all wanted for second-degree murder.
