An intense vehicle fire and collision have led to the closure of westbound lanes on Highway 1 near the iconic Port Mann Bridge, connecting Surrey and Coquitlam.
According to reports from 1130 NewsRadio, the incident is currently affecting traffic flow at the Cape Horn Interchange shortly after the bridge.
Motorists heading across the Port Mann Bridge are urged to utilize the Coquitlam exit lanes as an alternative route. However, additional delays are anticipated on Lougheed Highway due to a separate crash obstructing lanes.
