Miraculous Survival: Pedestrian Stabilizes After Being Hit by Car in LaSalle

A pedestrian, aged 43, is recovering in stable condition after being hit by a car on Monday night in Montreal’s LaSalle neighborhood.

The Montreal Police stated that the accident took place at approximately 7:15 p.m. near the junction of Newman Blvd. and Lise Street.

Preliminary information suggests that the 75-year-old driver was heading south on Lise Street and collided with the pedestrian while making a westward turn onto Newman Blvd.

The injured pedestrian was conscious upon the arrival of emergency responders and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Fortunately, the driver emerged unscathed from the incident.

To investigate the circumstances of the accident, a security perimeter has been put in place, allowing the collision investigation unit to meticulously analyze the scene.
