A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Surrey, prompting the BC Emergency Health Services to transport her to the hospital. The incident occurred at the intersection of King George Boulevard and 40 Avenue around 6:12 p.m. on Monday. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in the crash. As authorities from the Surrey Police Service (SPS) investigate the scene, King George Boulevard is currently closed in the northbound direction and southbound traffic is limited to one lane. The driver involved in the accident is cooperating with police. Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage are urged to reach out to the SPS at 604-599-0502.
