Durham Police Launch Manhunt for Oshawa Sexual Assault Suspect

Durham Regional Police are on the lookout for a man accused of a disturbing incident in Oshawa. The incident occurred on Tuesday night in a neighborhood near Adelaide Avenue and Thornton Road.

According to reports, the suspect, identified as Daniel Robert Watson, 50, from Clarington, allegedly assaulted an acquaintance after asking to park his vehicle on the victim’s property. The situation took a sinister turn when the suspect entered the victim’s home under the guise of using the washroom, only to physically assault the victim and expose himself.

The victim managed to escape and alert the authorities, while the suspect fled the scene in a silver sedan. Police are now seeking Watson for charges including assault, assault by choking, sexual assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, and unlawfully being in a dwelling house.

It is important to note that these are allegations and have not yet been proven in court.
