Authorities Seek Identity of Suspect in North York Business Arson Incident
In a recent incident, a business in North York faced a dangerous situation when a suspect set it on fire last September. The incident occurred in the vicinity of O’Connor Drive and Sunrise Avenue around 5:45 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025.
According to investigators, the suspect forcibly entered the business premises and proceeded to pour an accelerant before igniting the flames. The individual then hastily fled the scene on foot.
Although the suspect’s identity remains unknown, the police have shared a general description. The perpetrator was reportedly dressed in black track pants and a grey sweatshirt during the criminal act.
To aid in their investigation, the authorities have released an image of the suspect and are seeking any information that could lead to their identification.
