Longueuil police: Medical episode causes school bus crash, driver dies

A school bus driver died in Longueuil after experiencing a medical problem that led to a collision with parked cars on Thursday morning.

The 62-year-old man lost control of the bus on Nobert Blvd., between Séguin Street and Jacques-Cartier Blvd. West, according to police (SPAL).

Authorities add that no students were on the bus at the time, and no other injuries were reported.

SPAL continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
