Toronto law enforcement is currently looking into a multiple-vehicle accident that occurred in North York, resulting in a woman being taken to the hospital early on a Sunday morning.
The incident took place close to the intersection of Steeles Avenue West and Islington Avenue, right before 6:30 a.m., as confirmed by officials.
Upon examination, investigators found evidence of gunshots at the scene.
A woman sustained injuries from the collision and was promptly transported to the hospital by paramedics. Fortunately, her injuries were deemed not life-threatening.
As the authorities conduct their investigation, roads in the vicinity have been temporarily shut down.
