Hit-and-Run in Downtown Toronto Leaves Pedestrian Injured

A pedestrian in her 40s was rushed to the hospital following a hit-and-run incident in downtown Toronto on a Monday afternoon. The incident occurred at the intersection of Beverly Street and Dundas Street around 4:15 p.m., where a vehicle struck the pedestrian.

CityNews learned from paramedics that the woman sustained serious injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention. The vehicle involved in the hit-and-run is described as a large white truck with potential damage on the driver’s side. Witnesses reported seeing the truck heading northbound on St. Patrick Street.

In response to the incident, Beverly Street has been temporarily closed off between Dundas Street West and Grange Avenue as authorities conduct their investigation.
