She was last seen on August 31, 2024, at Sankofa, a club in Hamilton, where she spent the night with a group of men and another woman before leaving with them.
The circumstances surrounding Galastica’s disappearance are shrouded in uncertainty. The club where she was last seen was shut down by Hamilton police on the same morning she went missing, complicating efforts to gather information. With no working security cameras in place that night, crucial footage that could shed light on what happened to Galastica inside the club is unavailable.
Concerns were raised by one of Galastica’s close friends, Shemica Duncan, who noticed her absence on social media and raised the alarm to authorities. Despite both Duncan and Galastica having troubled pasts with law enforcement, including recent charges against Duncan unrelated to Galastica’s case, their friends and family remain determined to find answers regarding Galastica’s whereabouts.
A breakthrough in the investigation came when Duncan discovered a new contact on Galastica’s Snapchat account, who was with her on the night she disappeared. This individual, identified as “Jane,” has since been uncooperative in providing information to assist in solving the mystery.
