Surrey police officers were injured in a collision on Sunday night while responding to a shooting incident. The officers were in a marked SUV with lights and sirens on when they collided with another vehicle on 96 Avenue near 125 Street around 9:15 p.m. Fortunately, the officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment, as confirmed by the SPS in a statement to CityNews. The occupants of the other vehicle were unharmed in the crash. Images from the scene depict significant damage to both vehicles involved. The incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.
