Gunman Storms St-Hubert McDonald’s, Longueuil Police Respond to Armed Assault

Longueuil police were called to a fast food restaurant in the Saint-Hubert borough following reports of an armed assault involving a group of young individuals on Monday evening.

The incident took place at a McDonald’s on Cousineau Blvd around 6 p.m. According to a Facebook post by SPAL, a knife and pepper spray were allegedly used during the altercation, causing some individuals to be affected by the pepper spray. Paramedics were sent to the scene as a precautionary measure, and the Longueuil Fire Department was called in to ventilate the restaurant.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection with the incident. The main individuals involved had already left the scene by the time authorities arrived, and others suspected to be involved did not cooperate with the police.

As of now, no formal complaints have been filed, but the police investigation is ongoing to uncover more details about what transpired.
