A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Chilliwack’s Sardis area, where a pedestrian was fatally struck by a driver. The Chilliwack RCMP responded to reports of the collision on Vedder Road near Luckakuck Way around 4:15 p.m.
According to the police, the victim was hit by a pickup truck traveling southbound, resulting in catastrophic injuries. Despite efforts to save the individual’s life, they tragically passed away at the scene.
