Toronto authorities seek driver who damaged multiple TTC bus shelters in the city’s west end during a reckless spree in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to investigators, between 12:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. on November 23, a vehicle, believed to be an older model 4-door white Honda Civic, was involved in incidents near Wilson Avenue, Dufferin Street, Bloor Street, and Caledonia Road. The vehicle’s occupants reportedly fired a projectile at two moving vehicles and around 20 bus shelters, causing significant damage.
In a statement, law enforcement officials expressed concern over the extensive financial losses incurred and the potential danger posed to both drivers and pedestrians in the affected area. The suspect’s actions have raised alarm due to the risks posed to public safety.
The description of the vehicle includes specific details such as a grey hood, grey front passenger side quarter panel, white decal with white writing on the front windshield, a white sticker in the upper left corner of the rear window, and a distinctive loud aftermarket muffler.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on the car’s whereabouts or the individuals involved in the incidents to come forward and assist in the investigation.
