Firefighters are currently battling a raging fire at a tall building complex located on Thorncliffe Park Drive close to Overlea Boulevard.
The emergency response team quickly reached the location at 11 Thorncliffe Park Drive at approximately 1:36 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon.
Initial reports suggest that an electrical fire ignited on the P1 (parking) level and then spread to an interior wall, according to authorities.
To ensure safety, Toronto Hydro has cut off power and gas supply to the building, with shuttle buses arranged to offer temporary shelter for residents affected by the incident.
Paramedics from CityNews have been present on the scene since just after 2 p.m., confirming that there have been no injuries reported so far.
