A tragic incident unfolded in downtown Toronto as 18-year-old Dylan Adams lost his life in a shooting on Tuesday morning. Adams succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a hospital in 31 Division.
Following the devastating event, Toronto police have made significant progress in the case. They have identified Montreal resident Frandy Noel, 27, as the suspect in the shooting. Noel has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection to Adams’ death.
According to investigators, Noel was targeted by a group of males who opened fire on him in the King Street West and Spadina Avenue area early in the morning. In an attempt to defend himself, Noel allegedly fired back, unintentionally hitting Adams in the crossfire.
While Noel sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized, Adams tragically lost his life, marking the 37th homicide in Toronto for the year 2025.
