Authorities in Toronto are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in connection with a concerning incident that occurred in the Weston neighborhood.
According to police investigators, the incident took place around 3 p.m. on November 25 in the vicinity of Church Street and Grattan Street, near the intersection of Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue. A child who was walking home from school was approached by a man driving a blue Volkswagen sedan. The man reportedly stopped the car, exited the vehicle, and offered the child a ride home. The child declined the offer, after which the man returned to his vehicle and drove away.
The individual in question is described as having a brown complexion, standing approximately five-feet-nine inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds, with a slim build, short black hair, and a clean-shaven face. The vehicle involved is described as an older model blue Volkswagen Passat, potentially a 2007-2008 model, and notably lacked a front license plate.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have information about this incident or the individual involved to come forward and contact the police.
