“Police Launch Hunt for Suspect in Mission Home Invasion, Release Crucial Photo”

The Mission RCMP is seeking public assistance in the investigation of a recent violent home invasion that took place earlier this month. According to authorities, the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 13 at a residence, where suspects forcibly entered the home and attacked the occupants.

During the invasion, the victims were pepper-sprayed, and one individual was assaulted with a crowbar. In a turn of events, one of the suspects sustained significant injuries after encountering the homeowner, leading to their subsequent arrest.

Following the incident, a man with suspicious injuries was dropped off at a local hospital by a Dodge Caravan. When police attempted to intercept the vehicle in Abbotsford, it fled at high speed and was later found abandoned, with the occupants nowhere to be found.

While one suspect has been apprehended on unrelated charges, two others are still at large. Authorities are urging residents and businesses in the vicinity of Whidden Avenue to review their home security footage from the early hours of Nov. 13 for any signs of suspicious activity or individuals.

If anyone has information or relevant video footage, they are encouraged to contact the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161, citing file number 2025-14442.
