The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is currently conducting an investigation following a shooting incident that occurred overnight.
Authorities responded to a residence on 153A Street near 112 Avenue at approximately 3 a.m. on Thursday following reports of possible gunshots being fired at the location.
Upon reaching the scene, officers verified that the home had sustained damage from the gunshots, according to the SPS.
While the police are actively working to establish potential links to other cases, they have indicated that the incident does not seem to be connected to extortion activities.
Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries resulting from the shooting, the police department confirmed.
