Surrey Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Hospital Assault Suspect
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) is reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an assault incident. According to reports, on the morning of Oct. 28, a woman entered the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital and proceeded to remove her shirt and make contact with three infants. Fortunately, the infants were unharmed during the encounter.
Security personnel intervened and escorted the woman out of the premises, but the authorities were only alerted to the incident several hours later, around 1 p.m. The suspect, described as a woman aged between 30 and 40, standing at 5’2” with a heavyset build, remains at large.
The SPS has released a photo of the suspect for public identification. The individual was last seen wearing a black hoodie with “Essentials Department” printed in white, along with dirty grey sweatpants, cream-colored sandals, black socks, and carrying a camouflage jacket.
