Authorities in Toronto are currently looking into an incident where a 17-year-old teenager was attacked with a knife at a pizza shop in Scarborough over the weekend.
The distressing event unfolded on Saturday afternoon, prompting a swift response from emergency services at a shopping plaza near the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Midland Avenue around 2:40 p.m.
When law enforcement arrived on the scene, they found the young victim inside a Pizza Pizza outlet, suffering from injuries as a result of the stabbing.
The injured youth was swiftly taken to a nearby medical facility, where he is currently receiving treatment in a serious but stable condition.
According to reports, the assailants made a quick escape on foot following the attack, and their whereabouts remain unknown. Authorities have not disclosed any details about the suspects at this time.
