Opération Nez Rouge Smashes Records: Over 1800 Safe Rides Home in Spectacular Opening Weekend!

Over 1,800 Rides Home Provided by Opération Nez Rouge Volunteers in First Campaign Weekend

Opération Nez Rouge volunteers gave a helping hand by offering more than 1,800 safe rides home during the kickoff of their 42nd campaign last weekend. A total of 2,181 dedicated volunteers worked across approximately 40 regions in Quebec, facilitating 1,848 rides, as reported on Monday.

As the non-profit organization gears up for the upcoming weekends on December 5-6 and 12-13, they are bracing for increased activity attributed to festive “office parties.”

Last year, the collective efforts of nearly 20,000 volunteers made it possible for over 20,000 revelers to get home securely during the campaign. This year, the mission remains the same.

For those in need of a ride home, requesting assistance is made even easier with the Opération Nez Rouge mobile app. The service is free of charge, with donations warmly accepted. Those interested in contributing as volunteers are encouraged to express their interest.
