A 35-year-old woman is in custody after allegedly assaulting three infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Surrey Memorial Hospital earlier this year. The incident, which occurred on October 28, involved the suspect entering the unit and making skin-to-skin contact with the babies. Fortunately, the infants were unharmed during this alarming event. The Surrey Police Service has charged the woman with three counts of assault, and she will remain in custody pending her first court appearance.
