“Storage Heist Busted: Vaughan Duo Faces Charges in Locker Break-In Investigation”

York Regional Police have announced that two suspects have been arrested and stolen goods have been recovered in connection with a string of storage locker break-ins in Vaughan this autumn.

During the months of October and November 2025, authorities probed five reported incidents at local storage facilities. Allegedly, the individuals involved in the break-ins subsequently sold the stolen items on various online platforms.

On November 17, law enforcement officers apprehended the two suspects and carried out search warrants at two residences and two storage units in Vaughan. A substantial amount of stolen property was retrieved, with authorities sharing images of unclaimed items to aid in their return to rightful owners.

Individuals who fell victim to storage locker thefts between September and November are encouraged to view the posted images online and reach out to investigators if they identify any of their possessions.

Additionally, police have disclosed photos of the suspects, stating that they may have engaged with buyers in selling the stolen goods. Those who unknowingly purchased items from the suspects are encouraged to come forward and assist in the investigation.

Ailn Shamon, aged 42, from Vaughan, has been charged with multiple offenses, including break and enter, disguise with intent, and possession of stolen property. Anthony Costantiello, aged 44 and also from Vaughan, faces similar charges.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing their efforts to ensure justice is served.
