Toronto Ignites Festive Frenzy with Jam-Packed Holiday Celebrations!

Santa Fest made a triumphant return to Vaughan after a five-year break, drawing families to the streets for a festive celebration. The holiday spirit is in full swing across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with various events taking place this season.

Amidst the glitz, one parade attendee emphasized the true essence of the season, stating, “What matters is the joy and goodwill of the Santa Claus parade and the entire Christmas season, not material possessions.”

Vaughan Mayor Steven Del Duca, speaking with KISS 92.5’s Maurie Sherman, expressed the community’s excitement for the parade’s revival, noting the joy and unity it brings to residents of all ages.

Over in Toronto, Evergreen Brick Works has been transformed into a vibrant winter market, open every Sunday until Dec. 21. Organizers have curated a mix of food vendors, artisans, and vintage sellers, with the promise of future skating activities as weather permits.

With over 60 vendors offering a range of products from clothing to art, visitors can enjoy live music, explore a winter garden, and participate in interactive workshops. Admission is flexible, with a suggested donation to support community initiatives.

Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square has been illuminated for the annual Cavalcade of Lights, featuring dazzling art displays and free skating every Saturday until Jan. 3, with complimentary skate rentals available.

At the iconic Distillery District, the bustling Christmas market offers a blend of culinary delights, entertainment, and retail therapy, running until Jan. 4.
