Montreal Winter Weather Forecast: Snow and Cold Ahead
Montreal is bracing for another round of snow and chilly temperatures as December kicks off.
According to Environment Canada, light snow is expected on Tuesday, followed by multiple rounds of flurries and decreasing temperatures lasting into early next week.
By late Tuesday afternoon, the snowfall is predicted to accumulate to 2 to 4 centimetres, with light winds up to 15 km/h.
Despite a daytime high of -6°C, the wind chill will make it feel closer to -12°C.
Tonight, the skies will partially clear with a 30 per cent chance of flurries, as the temperature drops to -10°C with a wind chill near -14°C.
Wednesday will bring a mix of sun and cloud, with a 30 per cent chance of morning flurries and light winds.
The daytime high will reach -3°C, but it will feel like -14°C in the morning and -6°C in the afternoon, with a low chance of UV index at 1.
Flurries are expected to return Wednesday night, with temperatures dropping to -3°C.
Thursday will see continued snowfall with a high of -4°C, improving conditions in the evening as skies clear and the temperature falls to -14°C.
Friday will be a mix of sun and cloud with a high of -5°C, followed by cloudier conditions and a 70 per cent chance of flurries, as the temperature drops to -6°C.
The weekend will remain cloudy, with a 70 per cent chance of flurries on Saturday and a high of -2°C. Sunday will be partly sunny with a high of -7°C, followed by a clear and colder night at -17°C.
Monday will bring sunny skies and a high near -11°C, with temperatures staying well below seasonal norms.
